Hilton Garden Inn San Jose/Milpitas

My stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Milpitas was nothing short of stellar! The property has undergone extensive renovations, all of which give Hilton a very good name. Although the lobby was still undergoing renovations and was subsequently off limits (ditto the pool and hot tub), the hallways and rooms were extremely well-appointed and welcoming - I’m excited to see what the lobby will look like once it is completely renovated. I loved the simplicity of the mobile check in along with the service of the front desk staff. I also loved how the hotel was conveniently located right by CA-237 and I-880 along with a bunch of stores and restaurants in the McCarthy Ranch plaza. The rooms were extremely comfortable and spacious and very well lit and nicely decorated, and the beds were absolutely heavenly. I would absolutely recommend the HGI in Milpitas for anyone staying near San Jose - the luxurious atmosphere and reasonable price tag make it well worth it!

We first got a room that smelled like straight sewer. The lady at the desk was kind and got us a different room. I don't know if it was the construction the hotel os under or what but they shouldn't hove anyone room 119 at this time. Other than that our new room was fine

This was definitely one of the most pleasant Hilton hotels I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the bathroom was remarkably spacious – easily the largest I've encountered during my travels. Plus, there's a great selection of restaurants within the vicinity of the hotel, and it's conveniently located close to both the airport and the Silicon Valley area. Parking is free, plus there's a Bank of America and an In-N-Out burger right in the same complex!

I've been staying here for the last 12 weeks. Rooms are good. Some nicer than others. A few showers leak all over the bathroom but not terrible. The service is excellent at both the front desk and restaurant/bar. The dinner specials are always good. Breakfast is not included unless you book a room with breakfast. It was clearly marked on the website but others complained about it. I usually stay at Hampton Inns but this place has become my second home while in town for work.

I have stayed at plenty of Hilton properties and the rooms here were quite nice and clean. I was re-assigned a room without being told and it was not at the end of the hallway which I actually chose because I hate being between rooms. The hotel location is conveniently located, so that was nice. Upon arrival there were two agents at the front desk. One was helping a guest and the other was just doing something at her computer. We just wanted to get physical copies of our keys and had to wait 10 minutes for the guest to finish checking in so the agent could help us. The other clerk at the front desk did not look up from her computer once, not even to say we will be right with you. Absolutely nothing! Arrived in the room and it was certainly one of the cleanest I have stayed in. We went out for dinner and came back to the parking lot full. So we parked one row over and a security guard said that we were NOT allowed to park there because it was for the hotel next door. The signs in the parking lot did not mention that this was parking for that hotel and nothing said that we could not park there. So we were quite irritated and had to park at the dark back end of the hotel where there was no lights at all!

Great Hilton property around 6 miles away from the light industry parks near SJC airport. Much quieter less hustle and bustle than downtown San Jose. Fremont is great and the Warm Springs neighborhood is safe and friendly. There's an excellent Steak and Seafood restaurant across the street from the Hotel.

Bed is very comfortable, nice bathroom and hotel is clean with great service. Only thing that wasn’t great was being next to a boulevard which made it a bit noisy.

Olpha the manager was amazing made check in easy and was very nice throigout our stay we love her will stay again just because of Olpha
